Requirements

Must:
- BA/BS and 9+ years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 13+ years. - Strong experience with telephony systems (VoIP, analog, ISDN) and voice media gateway integration. - Proficiency in Linux server management (Ubuntu, CentOS) and scripting languages (Korn shell, PowerBuilder). - Experience with BESS Billing and Telephony Provisioning Tools. - Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

- I will install, maintain, and analyze software, hardware, and transmission systems for voice communications. - I will ensure proper installation and support procedures for remote hardware and communication facilities. - I will collaborate with customers and vendors to define voice communication system requirements. - I will integrate telephony systems (VoIP, analog, ISDN) with voice media gateways and service modules. - I will manage and configure Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS) for hosting applications, ensuring performance, security, and stability. - I will utilize BESS Billing and Telephony Provisioning Tools to support telephony systems. - I will develop, test, and troubleshoot applications on Linux-based servers, including PowerBuilder and Korn shell scripts, while optimizing system performance.

Description

- Preferred qualifications include experience integrating telephony systems with web applications (e.g., handling inbound/outbound calls, IVR, call routing), knowledge of security best practices for telephony, server administration, and web applications, and hands-on experience with telephony systems and Linux server management, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Additionally, being qualified in Oracle Database Administration and having experience provisioning telephony services is advantageous. - Clearance requirements state that candidates must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph. - Physical requirements indicate that candidates must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time and constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
