Requirements
Must:
- You should have experience in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances within an enterprise environment.
- A solid understanding of standards, concepts, and tools necessary for technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances is essential.
- Technical expertise in backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations is required.
- You must possess skills in creating, managing, and troubleshooting load-balanced IP address spaces.
- Prior experience working independently to meet customer requirements is expected.
- You should be comfortable collaborating with team members to discuss requirements and devise solutions.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- You will ensure that Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance are consistently operational.
- It is your responsibility to back up load balancing configurations and PKI certificates in line with customer policies.
- You will notify load balancing and reverse proxy customers ahead of PKI certificate expirations and assist with certificate renewals as required.
- You will create, manage, and troubleshoot load-balanced IP address spaces.
- You will develop and implement technical solutions in collaboration with fellow engineers and architects.
- After hours support for the 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to help troubleshoot service outages will be part of your duties.
- You will also develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures, and other documentation to aid IT Operations Center personnel in initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.

We are currently looking for an F5 Load Balance Network Engineer to support a significant enterprise IT contract with the Department of Defense (DOD). In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of load balancer technologies across a global enterprise, covering multiple networks. Your tasks will include adopting new technologies, optimizing performance, and implementing crucial system patches. This infrastructure may comprise both on-premises and cloud resources. You will collaborate within a team to ensure we meet the mission needs of both internal and external clients.
