Description
I am seeking highly motivated engineers with a thirst for learning to support a state-of-the-art solution that constructs a Multi-Cloud Ecosystem via a centralized Cloud Management Interface (CMI). The CMI serves as a controlled access entry to all Cloud Service Providers (Amazon, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle) cloud services and business tools. In this role, I will be responsible for supporting the design, engineering, and implementation of network requirements to enable CMI functionality. My position will provide engineering support to multiple WAN connected sites, with data flows crossing various controlled interfaces, and will adhere to specific IT project management and engineering lifecycle processes. Throughout the IT project lifecycle, I will refine requirements, create design documentation, develop installation instructions and deployment plans, and provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support. As such, project assignments may vary based on skill level and could include engineering geographically dispersed services, integrating services into public, private, and hybrid cloud environments, and engineering solutions to be deployed via automated Configuration Management tools while ensuring security and SCAP compliance. GDIT offers a competitive benefits package that includes a variety of health and wellness packages, a 401(k) plan with company match, and opportunities for professional growth through education and certifications. I thrive in an environment that encourages work/life balance and I am excited to be part of a team that is dedicated to creating a safer, smarter world through technology.
