Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another related field.
- Experience with several of the following environments and tools: Linux, Ansible, Containers, C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elastic).
- Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, ZMQ), or other methods of inter-process communication.
- An understanding of routing protocols, such as OSPF and i/BGP.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, the network and transport layers of communication or networking systems, IPV4/6, TCP, and other emerging protocols.
- The ability to obtain an Interim Top Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately secure a Top Secret level clearance. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
We would love it if you can exceed our minimum requirements with:
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related field from an accredited university.
- Expert level knowledge of network testbed development and experience with network emulation/simulation.
- Operational experience with virtualization and enterprise computing platforms.
- Relevant experience with military and commercial satellite communication systems and network engineering.
- Experience in project management/development, ideally leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with Software Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN).
- Insight into software frameworks for Software Defined Radios (SDR) such as GNU Radio, embedded system architecture, RF design and spectrum management, GPS/GNSS, and other localization technologies/concepts.
- Knowledge of system acquisition development, from requirements definition to implementation and testing.
- Possess a current and active U.S. Government Security Clearance β Top Secret level.
Responsibilities
As a Networking Orchestration Engineer, you will:
- Explore technologies and develop solutions to address evolving threats.
- Engage with sponsors to understand and seek solutions to their toughest problems.
- Help design and orchestrate tailored networks and/or threat representative networks.
- Work with concepts like traffic engineering, software-defined networking, and protocol manipulation over network types, including wired, wireless, LOS, BLOS, and mesh.
