Requirements
Must:
- I have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a relevant field with 12+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
- I possess experience operating, troubleshooting, and installing network routers and switches.
- I have experience designing and architecting routed and switched networks.
- I am familiar with the DoD environment.
- I hold at least one nationally recognized certification for senior network administrators/engineers/architects in the area of routers and switches.
- I have at least one certification that fulfills IAT Level III requirement, such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
- I possess a TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
- I will operate, troubleshoot, and install network routers and switches.
- I will design and architect routed and switched networks.
- I will provide planning and technical support for network resources and connectivity.
- I will maintain fully functional mission support capabilities, including all network devices, interfaces, and component parts.
- I will ensure the baseline configuration of all network assets is documented and configured according to DoD and JSP engineering standards.
- I will conduct urgent break-fixes and other requirements in response to incidents.
- I will manage network connectivity at all VIP/Government Officer (GO) locations and other priority locations within JSP's scope of responsibility.
- I will implement and manage network connectivity and transport across all classification levels.
- I will manage and perform the installation, maintenance, and removal of all equipment according to JSP-approved standards and architecture drawings, including encryption devices, VoIP devices, VoSIP devices, and auxiliary power equipment (e.g., Uninterrupted Power Supply).
- I will manage and perform life-cycle maintenance for all transport devices and supporting equipment.

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our DISA JSP ETM team as a Senior Network Engineer, supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA. The successful candidate will provide expert support to a Rapid Response Team responsible for quick responses and fixes for urgent issues.
While this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days, we anticipate a close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date. The pay range for this position is $108,550.00 - $196,225.00, based on various factors including job responsibilities, education, experience, and market alignment.
