Responsibilities

As a Network Engineer Senior at GDIT, I will be responsible for the following: - Design and develop voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks. - Assist customers in resolving issues related to performance and configuration. - Support the translation of business requirements into telecommunications networks including LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice, and Video requirements, design, and orders. - Conduct in-depth engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives. - Provide interface support to telecommunications end users, operations personnel, and strategic program management. - Create telecommunications enhancement designs for medium and large-scale infrastructures.

Description

To succeed in this role, I will need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required; alternatively, 12 years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s, and 10 years for an Associate’s degree. A TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance is mandatory. This position is onsite, requires US citizenship, and typically involves 40 hours of work per week with less than 10% travel. The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500, based on experience, geographic location, and other factors.
