Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional Java development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Java programming.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Ability to convert functional IT requirements into system requirements.
- IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
As a Java Developer, I will work closely with the Cyber Security Engineering team to:
- Develop enterprise software solutions that support Identity, Access, and Credential Management.
- Engineer and deploy capabilities that provide new functionality, improve system performance and availability, and generate efficiencies in maintaining the operational environment.
- Provide Oracle Database support and assist with engineering solutions.
- Supply LDAP engineering and support.
- Develop recommendations and solutions to fix bugs and enhance system performance.
Description
Preferred qualifications include experience with Jira, Linux-based operating systems, the creation of REST web services, and knowledge of cloud technologies. It is essential that candidates possess a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. The physical requirements for this position state that I must remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time and occasionally move about the office to access files, operate office machinery, and communicate with colleagues and customers through various channels, including virtual communication and presentations.
