Requirements
Must:
- I must have an active TS/SCI Polygraph.
- I should have a BS degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master's with less than 2 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- I must have demonstrated experience with Java and familiarity with multiple Java frameworks, including Spring (Boot and Data) and Java Enterprise Edition (JEE).
- I need experience or familiarity with various programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Groovy, and SQL.
- I should have experience with development IDEs like Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, and Visual Studio, as well as databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
- I must have experience with web application development and knowledge of relevant web technologies.
- I should have experience with software source control and configuration management tools.
- I need experience with cryptographic systems and developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- I must have documented professional experience with web services, a strong understanding of software development principles, and the ability to communicate effectively.
- I should be an independent thinker capable of performing high-quality work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- I will actively participate in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and related team activities.
- I will analyze and study complex system requirements using design software tools and formal specifications, striving for efficient, reliable, and reusable code.
- I will provide software process management and control throughout the coding phase of the development process.
- I will promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration to reduce maintenance costs by creating common functions for developers and testers.
- I will engineer, author, tune, and document automation scripts in a development environment and deploy these to test/production.
Description
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), SQL, application servers, Spring framework, as well as technologies like XML/XSD/SOAP and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, Bootstrap) and testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium) is also advantageous.
- Familiarity with build tools and experience in Agile team environments, including practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD), will set me apart.
- Understanding secure software development and methodologies like Scrum or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
