Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Must possess and maintain an active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will help implement innovative cloud computing solutions to tackle some of the world's most complex technical challenges. You will be part of a dedicated team working to expand our Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) services for government customers. Your responsibilities will include engineering and operating one of the largest cloud computing infrastructures on the planet. You will diagnose, respond to, and automate EC2 platform issues while designing and building operational scalability to sustain growth. Our environment is fast-paced and collaborative, and you will engage with top engineers, investigate metrics, and discuss new approaches to enhance operational efficiency. You will measure your success through the visible impact your work has on the effectiveness of government services.
