Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field with at least 10+ years of related experience, or a Master's or Doctorate with at least 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance are required.
- Extensive experience in system engineering, particularly managing and maintaining system and subsystem requirements with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven experience with software development and creating application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Strong background in requirements decomposition and understanding of complex system development methods.
- Solid understanding of the Systems Engineering V concepts and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience developing technical documentation and navigating projects through established processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead system engineering, hardware, and software analysis to support our customer’s Cybersecurity-driven project portfolio.
- Define and apply systems engineering processes to develop systems that meet customer requirements.
- Manage requirements, including decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation for subsequent use by development and test teams.
- Define and develop system architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using systems engineering methodologies.
- Collaborate with internal agile development teams and external stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.
- Conduct discussions at customer meetings, working groups, and technical interchange meetings associated with the project.
- Research, design, write, and review a variety of technical API implementations and supporting documentation, including technical manuals, interface requirements specifications, and system user guides.
- Provide project briefing materials according to scheduled milestones and upon request.

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Leidos team in San Diego, CA, to develop cyber and key management solutions in support of the NGLD-M program within our Intelligence Organization.
