Requirements
Must:
- Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Linux (CLI).
- Experience with scripting and programming languages like BASH and Python.
- Experience with networking (e.g., ports, routing tables, subnets, VPNs, firewalls, routers, etc.) including design, integration, and troubleshooting issues.
- Experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS).
- Experience working on teams utilizing Agile workflows and processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance of cloud infrastructure resources, including patching, configuration, and upgrades as needed.
- Ensure designs are compatible with the architecture and allocated requirements to segments.
- Identify system integrity issues and provide solutions for the full system life cycles from concept to disposal.
- Integrate systems and services for firewall and network components.
- Work with the team’s security engineer to address and mitigate security findings stemming from system security scans.

We are seeking a Systems Engineer for a technical development program that supports two cloud-based applications and their associated cloud infrastructure on a secure network. The Systems Engineer will collaborate with a large team of developers, software engineers, cybersecurity engineers, database administrators, and system architects. Please note that this role may require carrying a duty phone on a rotational basis and may require coming in to address any arising issues.
