Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- I have a minimum of seven years of experience in IT roles within the financial services or asset management industry, focusing on Fixed Income products and data.
- I possess strong experience in developing and managing IT solutions for financial products, particularly ETFs.
- I have experience or exposure to generative AI and machine learning technologies, with hands-on experience in applying these tools in a financial context, which is a plus.
- I have a solid understanding of data management, database systems, and data analytics.
- I demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- I possess strong communication skills and can work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- I am responsible for designing and implementing IT infrastructure and applications to support Fixed Income portfolio optimization development and management.
- I collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and investment teams (Portfolio Managers) to identify technical requirements and translate them into actionable IT solutions.
- I understand data sources structures and challenges related to data quality, designing robust algorithms that can efficiently process and analyze large volumes of data in real-time or near real-time.
- I create dashboards and visualizations to present findings and insights related to data quality to stakeholders.
- I continuously monitor and refine anomaly detection systems, incorporating feedback and new data to improve performance while staying updated on the latest technologies and data quality best practices.
- I monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- I stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to Fixed Income ETFs and asset management.
Description
I provide expert-level IT investment systems technical lead services, including directing, evaluating, selecting, configuring, implementing, and integrating new and existing technologies and tools. I have proven experience in leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for hosting and scaling investment management applications, ensuring flexibility and scalability within modern resilient infrastructures. Additionally, I adopt and implement a microservices-based approach, enhance API management practices, develop efficient data integration and ETL processes, and have a strong background in utilizing real-time and intraday market data.
My understanding of Fixed Income encompasses concepts such as Coupon, Yield, Bond prices, Bond risks, and duration, alongside a comprehensive grasp of financial market structure, including market participants, trading venues, regulatory environments, and the mechanics of price formation and liquidity.
