Systems Solutions Engineer

To succeed in this position, you should have: - Required Skills: - Experience in developing and reviewing security concepts of operations, systems security plans, control assessments, contingency strategies, configuration management, incident response, risk management plans, and vulnerability solutions. - Documented experience with customer authorization and accreditation platforms and RMF processes. - On-the-job expertise in cloud security design, requirements analysis, implementation, and mitigation, particularly with cloud environments like AWS. - Knowledge of security frameworks and technical controls, including ICD-503, FISMA, RMF/A&A processes, and NIST SP 800 series. - Experience in performing security scans using various security tools. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively. - Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail in reporting system issues. - A strong work ethic, initiative, and reliability. - Desired Skills: - Certifications such as CISSP or CASP. - Experience in managing security requirements with tools like JIRA. - Project or program management experience. - Job Location: Chantilly, VA - Total Rewards at GDIT: We offer a robust benefits package, including various medical and dental plans, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and a range of paid time off options.
