Requirements

Must:
We seek candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree accompanied by twelve (12) years of relevant experience; or an Associate’s degree with fifteen (15) years; or a High School Diploma/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant experience. A current and active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will be responsible for numerous key tasks, including maintaining hardware and software inventory records alongside appropriate changelog documentation. I will engage in Secure the Enterprise (STE) and Secure the Network (STN) operations, review and address Xacta notifications, and uphold precise compliance documentation. Additionally, I will complete SEAR audit log records in line with Sponsor standards, resolve POAMs (Plan of Action and Milestones) concerning IAVA findings, and develop as well as sustain System Security Plans (SSPs). I will also review system scans and work closely with stakeholders to remediate vulnerabilities, initiate and support the authorization process for new systems, and reauthorize legacy systems while utilizing tools such as Gatekeeper, Xacta, SEAR, and LatteArt during daily security operations.

This position is an exciting opportunity to be part of a motivated, career-focused team at ManTech in Columbia, MD. I will play a vital role in enhancing the enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a globally mission-driven workforce, supporting the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization responsible for MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT)—the key platform for users across the enterprise. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Gatekeeper, Xacta, SEAR, LatteArt, and similar tools, along with experience in coordinating STE and STN activities, responding to POAMs, conducting audit log reviews, and maintaining secure system inventories. Additionally, a background in supporting SSP development and handling computer incident responses will be beneficial. Note that physical requirements for this role involve being stationary for 50% of the time, moving as necessary within the office to access equipment, and effectively communicating with colleagues, management, and clients, including delivering presentations.
