Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance; ability to obtain and maintain CI polygraph
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, technical certification, training, or work/military experience
- 8+ years of related experience
- Intermediate Systems Engineering experience with requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and integration of IT solutions
- Experience with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Identity Access Management (IAM) tools within an IT enterprise environment
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, SOAP, and REST development
- Knowledge of Oracle Database
- Familiarity with Docker Containers and Ansible
- Understanding of Active Directory, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, Single-Sign-On across multiple domains, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Personal Identity Verification authentication
- Experience with Linux systems and Bash scripting
- Ability to diagnose and solve complex issues
- Understanding of DevOps principles for developing, testing, and deploying applications
- Knowledge of Oracle OID
- Experience working within a government enterprise environment
Responsibilities
As an Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Engineer, I will provide expertise, knowledge, and operational support of the Identity Access Management solution. My typical day will include:
- Participating in system development, including design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing of IDAM solutions such as Radiant Logic and/or SailPoint
- Supporting Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) application development, integration, deployment, and maintenance. This includes designing, developing, building, and testing IT engineering solutions for aggregating attributes from authoritative sources and integrating with Virtual LDAP Directory and Web Services
- Developing advanced engineering concepts and guiding their development into final products
- Creating and maintaining programmatic and technical documentation
- Implementing system enhancements to improve IT enterprise performance
- Analyzing customer requirements, specifications, and proposing compliant solutions
- Managing and updating issues related to development tasks in JIRA
- Utilizing version control and source code management with Bitbucket
- Conducting code testing and integration with CI/CD pipelines
