Requirements
Must:
- I have 6+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- I possess 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- I have 6+ years of experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) new and existing systems.
- I have 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment.
- I have 4+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
- I possess 6+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience.
- I have experience leading the design, build, and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production.
Responsibilities
- I will work with engineers across the company to deliver the next-generation AWS platforms and will have a direct impact on our bottom line.
- I will proactively identify deficiencies, write tactical code to solve issues before they impact customers, and collaborate with my team to scale the solution.
- I will analyze complex architectural problems and own the systems to ensure high quality and reliability in future/new designs for AWS accelerated server solutions.
- I will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers through various stages of server conception, testing, launching, and operations.
- I will decompose difficult server system issues into manageable tasks and lead the delivery process.
