Requirements

Must:
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance - Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance - US Citizenship is required - 6+ years of related experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience - Understanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools and technologies, such as AWS Cloud (GovCloud/C2S) - Familiarity with Amazon Web Managed Services (AWS) - Proficient experience utilizing JavaScript, Elasticsearch, JSON, SQL, XML - Working knowledge with datastores MongoDB/DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, JDBC/ODBC, and Redis - Familiar with Linux/Unix server environments - Experience with Agile development methodology - Skills in stakeholder management, ETL, data pipelines, data engineering, and effective team communication - Publication and presentation skills for design reports - Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence is an asset

Responsibilities

- I will define and communicate a clear product vision for software products, aligning with user needs and business objectives. - I will create and manage product roadmaps that reflect both innovation and growth strategies. - I will partner with a government product owner and a product team of 7-8 FTEs to deliver optimum solutions. - I will develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution. - I will integrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services to extract meaningful insights and manage production data ensuring fault tolerance and redundancy. - I will collaborate with the team to design, launch new features, and provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and dataflows. - I will coordinate and document data flows, capabilities, etc., and occasionally support off-hours deployment.

As a Data Engineer, I will interpret business needs and select appropriate technologies while ensuring the implementation of data governance for shared or master sets of data. My key responsibilities will include analyzing data and systems architecture, creating designs, and implementing information systems solutions. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, familiarity with the Intelligence Community and the Department of Homeland Security, and direct experience with data architectures and environments relevant to these domains. The typical salary range for this position is between $127,500 - $172,500, based on various factors.
