Requirements
Must:
- I require a high school diploma or equivalent work experience along with at least 8 years of experience in Gas Control Center operations.
- A strong understanding of DOT/PHMSA 192 Natural Gas Control Room Management regulations is essential.
- Leadership skills, analytical capabilities, and a keen interest in enhancing technology platforms are necessary.
- Effective communication with all levels of management, team members, and external regulatory agencies is a must.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication skills is expected.
Responsibilities
- I will ensure compliance documentation for Gas Control is maintained in accordance with Control Room Management requirements, including Alarm Management, Fatigue Mitigation, Incident Investigation, Workload Study, Console splitting/combing justification, and Pipeline performance.
- I will manage various applications tied to Alarm Management, such as Safety Related alarm reporting and maintaining the Master Alarm Database, which includes a CRM document repository and PHMSA audit requirements.
- I will oversee the Master Alarm Database and conduct audits to guarantee adherence to CRM recommended practices.
- Weekly, monthly, and annual reports will be generated to demonstrate our ongoing compliance with all CRM requirements.
- I will support the creation and implementation of effective fatigue countermeasures related to alarm management.
- I will maintain Gas Control Room Management procedures to fulfill compliance obligations.
- I will conduct internal audits of the alarm system and prepare for audits by Regulatory Agencies on the Alarm Management program.
- I will assist the SCADA team in reviewing configuration sheets for alarm accuracy and SCADA data standards.
- I will prepare for general audits regarding both integrated and program auditing.
Description
- Preferred education includes an Associate's degree in a technical or relevant field.
- Experience in developing and executing control room management procedures is beneficial.
- Familiarity with our pipeline systems is advantageous.
