Responsibilities
In our program, you'll gain essential professional business and communication skills, along with interviewing and networking abilities. You will also learn resume building techniques and receive ongoing support and guidance to help launch your career. Additionally, some coursework is eligible for college credit. During the internship phase, you will earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
Description
Year Up United is a one-year or less, intensive job training program designed to provide young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. We partner with industry-leading talent placement firms like YUPRO Placement to help secure internships at top organizations such as Bank of America, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, and Salesforce across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Our in-depth classes cover topics including Application Development & Support, Business Fundamentals, Banking & Customer Success, and Helpdesk/Desktop Support. Join us to gain the skills and opportunities needed to launch your professional career; 80% of our graduates are employed or enrolled in postsecondary education within 4 months of graduation, with an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
