Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a candidate with over 10 years of experience in AWS cloud architecture, particularly in Data and AI. You should have strong, practical expertise with AWS Data and AI services, including Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, SageMaker, Bedrock, DynamoDB, Athena, and OpenSearch. A track record of delivering AWS Data and AI projects on a fully billable basis is essential. Experience in the Financial Services sector (Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance) is advantageous, along with hands-on experience in constructing scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and AI-driven analytics solutions. You should have a solid understanding of AWS cost optimization, security, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and FINRA. Familiarity with Generative AI and LLMs is a plus. The ability to assist in pre-sales and RFP solutioning, particularly in defining AWS architectures, is also required.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will lead AWS Data and AI projects across financial services clients, ensuring exceptional delivery. Your role involves architecting and implementing data lakes, real-time analytics, and AI/ML pipelines on AWS. You will define best practices for data governance, security, and compliance tailored to financial services firms, while optimizing the cost and performance of AWS data workloads. Additionally, you will drive AWS AI/ML use cases like predictive analytics, risk modeling, and fraud detection, and engage directly with AWS services. You will also spearhead AWS Data and AI solutions for RFPs and client proposals, collaborate with AWS partner teams for top-tier solution designs, and work with internal teams to create successful AWS cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will further include developing reusable AWS architectures for financial services clients and contributing to internal accelerators and frameworks for AWS-based analytics solutions. Staying informed on AWS best practices and mentoring internal teams in AWS Data Engineering and cloud-native architectures will be part of your role.
