Requirements
Must:

Responsibilities
- I will design and develop scalable AI platforms that support machine learning model deployment and data pipelines.
- I'll implement and maintain MLOps best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
- I will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate AI solutions into the platform.
- I will ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of the AI platform.
- I will hire, evaluate, and supervise team members while providing guidance and training to foster development.
- I'll manage the planning and implementation of enterprise-wide platform projects, including scheduling, resources, and communication of project status.
- I will oversee the resolution of complex availability and incident management issues.
- I will manage technical support staff who implement, monitor, troubleshoot, and install cloud-based platforms across all systems.
- I will evaluate alternatives for modifications to cloud computing systems and implement solutions that meet long-term business objectives.
- I will lead teams that troubleshoot, configure, and tune systems for critical enterprise-wide IT cloud platform projects.
- I will provide thought leadership and develop technical standards to meet our technical needs while managing the evaluation and selection of IT cloud vendor products and services.
- I will maintain expertise and awareness of industry trends and technologies to make timely adjustments to our strategies.
- I will participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Description
We are hiring an AI Platform Engineering Manager to lead the AI Application Engineering team, enabling the responsible use of AI for our 750 product teams. You will define the technical roadmap and vision for custom applications using AI at Vanguard and enable the tools and capabilities needed for these teams to be successful. We define success as every custom application responsibly using AI to transform our business and developers being delighted to use our services.
This is a highly visible role requiring both technical expertise and the ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively. Subject matter expertise in GenAI technology, AWS, and platform enablement is crucial for success at Vanguard.
