You will assist with onsite shipboard network and communications systems repairs, upgrades, and installations on SURTASS Expeditionary and other similar mission vessels. You will employ technical solutions for any physical and/or software (CISCO IOS) patching as required and perform operations and maintenance of the Ship’s Operation Center and Array Handling systems using standard and specialized tools, test equipment, manufacturer’s manuals, schematic diagrams, and government procedures. Your role will include opportunities to work on UHF SATCOM, Communication, Processing, Passive and Active Arrays, and other supporting systems. I want you to become qualified in Ship Operation Center and Array Operation positions, participate in the deployment and retrieval of Tow Arrayed evolutions, and assist supervisors and program managers with compiling data, procedures, and manuals. Additionally, you will ensure the proper maintenance of Logs and Records and may be assigned COMSEC, logistics, 3M, or safety collateral duties. Participation in Leidos and Government Compliance Training programs is required, and you will share common spaces during lengthy deployment periods while working closely with others in a small shipboard environment.

Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, a 401K Retirement Plan, stock options, paid holidays (which can be deferred if on missions), and floating holidays. You will also receive on-mission bonus pay, along with an additional Mission Completion Bonus (MCB) when your mission ends.
