Requirements

Must:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. - Over 5 years of relevant experience in systems administration, including: - Familiarity with the DoD system accreditation process. - Experience with STIG checklist review process, SCAP scans, and implementation. - Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM package creation and deployment. - Administration of Group Policy Management, including policy creation and upkeep. - Proficiency with Windows 10 deployment via SCCM or standalone methods. - Skills in improving system operations, functionality, monitoring, and optimization of servers and workstations. - Exposure to VMware virtual environments. - Required certifications: Security+ CE. - Education: A Bachelor’s degree or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. - Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

As a Cyber Systems Administrator - SecOps, I will play a significant role within our IT Technology Operations division at the NCIS ITD organization located in Quantico, VA. I will be responsible for: - Implementing STIG releases across various operating systems and applications. - Tracking and addressing IAVM vulnerabilities. - Managing ACAS vulnerability reports and performing remediation as necessary. - Executing software upgrades, patch installations, and firmware upgrades. - Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to the OS, hardware, network, and relevant software. - Conducting daily written and verbal communications with colleagues and leadership. - Consistently attending to periodic SCAP and STIG requirements needed to enhance server security. - Troubleshooting and configuring servers within a virtual environment, utilizing Vsphere. - Developing scripts in different shells to automate daily and periodic tasks. - Documenting work for leadership and updating or creating Standard Operating Procedures while providing briefings on various tasks to staff and customers.
