Requirements
Must:
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- 2+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Software Engineer or in a similar field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with one or more programming languages, including Python, BASH scripting, C++, or Java.
- Demonstrated experience with DevOps methodologies.
- Proven experience troubleshooting issues with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Jenkins, and programming in a Linux environment.
- Experience working within a software development team and supporting developers and developer activities.
Responsibilities
- Support software deployments, infrastructure baselines, and the operational availability of production systems.
- Analyze, design, code, and update software for new features and performance improvements.
- Manage, build, configure, administer, operate, and maintain all components that comprise the DevOps environment.
- Assist the Sr. DevOps Engineer in continually enhancing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes, adhering to best practices in compliance with DoD policies.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate tool deployment and other tasks; maintain build environments.
- Collaborate with all teams to support software deployments and integrations.
- Work with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.
Description
We at Leidos are seeking a DevSecOps Software Engineer to support our maritime autonomy team. In this role, I will work in a diverse environment, engaging with all aspects of infrastructure, configuration, and software deployment throughout the software development lifecycle. You will join a successful team with a reputation for excellence and work closely with the Development team and other technology stakeholders in an Agile SAFe environment. The position involves collaborating with software engineering to deploy and operate systems, automating and streamlining operations, and building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations while troubleshooting and resolving issues across development, testing, and production environments.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $67,600.00 - $122,200.00, based on various factors including responsibilities, education, experience, and market alignment.
