Must:
We are seeking a Senior Developer with over 10 years of experience in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proficiency in developing scalable, distributed, and multithreaded applications.
- Knowledge of various high-level programming languages, with Golang being our primary language for back-end development.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
- Understanding of API methodologies and protocols, such as HTTP ReST and gRPC.
- Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
- Awareness of DevOps practices, including Git, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines, and JIRA.
- Prior experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology is an advantage.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferred.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Developer, your role will encompass:
- Designing and implementing highly scalable enterprise applications and APIs.
- Working within an advanced Cloud environment and occasionally leveraging critical data from legacy systems still in operation.
- Developing and integrating back-end web services.
- Architecting solutions that include cloud-based infrastructure, databases, batch processing, distributed engines, messaging platforms, in-memory caching, and runtime environments for web services.
- Integrating third-party APIs, including those from partners and Google Cloud services.
- Supporting the development of solutions that promote efficient testing and operations, collaborating with our QA Team and System Reliability Engineers.
- Leading and conducting code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Creating unit and integration tests to maintain application reliability.
- Contributing to the development of robust, architecturally significant components and pipelines while promoting their adoption across the development team.
