Must:
We require a candidate with an active Top Secret Security Clearance, who can obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph after hiring. You should have a Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who demonstrates a positive attitude and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with GitLab functionality, metrics, error codes, and scripting is essential. You should be familiar with AWS services and technologies, including CloudFormation, S3, EKS, and ECS. Additionally, experience with AWS Roles and Policies (IAM) in CI/CD pipeline standardization and knowledge of AWS Serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway) is required. A solid understanding of cloud-based architectures (IaaS, PaaS) and DevSecOps methodologies is important, along with direct experience in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with software development and sustainment practices, Infrastructure as Code concepts, and team collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence is also necessary.
Responsibilities
Your primary duties will involve leading the Systems Engineering/Architecture team and fostering innovation and enhancement across the program. You will provide technical guidance on all capabilities and microservices, as well as develop and communicate the technical roadmap for the program. Supporting developer testing in the environment will be part of your role, along with creating and maintaining processes associated with the SE/ARCH team. You will engage with program, customer, and DevOps tool providers, documenting existing practices and identifying gaps or use cases. Additionally, you will deliver hands-on technical analysis and support for service expansion and implementation standardization. Defining, planning, and prioritizing epics, features, stories, and bugs will be key responsibilities. You will act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and coordinate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) as needed.
Description
Preferred qualifications include direct experience with GitLab CI/CD implementation in a multi-tenant approach, as well as the development of AWS Lambda functions, AWS EKS, and AWS ECS. Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying containerized solutions is desirable. AWS certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) and Linux certifications are preferred. Familiarity with ArcGIS Server deployment/integration and experience in developing use cases, features, and systems engineering documentation is beneficial. A DoD 8570 Certification (Security+) and experience adhering to SAFe Agile Standards and Technical Runway feature development are also valued. Previous roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer (RTE), or team lead would be advantageous. For U.S. positions, while subject to change based on business needs, we anticipate that this job posting will remain accessible for at least three days, with a closing date no earlier than three days from the original posting date. The pay range for this position is $104,650.00 - $189,175.00. This is a general guideline, and final compensation will consider various factors including responsibilities, education, experience, and skills.
