Lead Test Engineer

In this role, I will support the execution of an advanced research and development program. I will work closely with the program teams to establish strategies for testing advanced capabilities, identify and confirm gaps, verify requirements, and define program test objectives and test plans. I will also coordinate technical reviews, evaluate test plans, prepare test security concepts of operation, and monitor and report on the team and contract test status execution. I will serve as the primary test engineering point of contact for coordinating test program status and execution throughout the design, engineering, integration, testing, and program execution processes. This includes analyzing manufacturers’ proposals as permitted by law and regulation, developing, executing, monitoring, and reporting the status of various assigned program efforts, as well as analyzing test data. I will act as the focal point for the program’s T&E execution, coordinating test efforts and communicating T&E concerns and issues with program management and technical leadership. This involves coordinating functions between government and manufacturer representatives, program engineers, T&E subject matter experts, and warfighters involved in test execution. Furthermore, I will provide insights to determine the effectiveness of program execution and recommend modifications to processes for program activities. Collaborating with program management and teams, I will aid in the development of long-term planning for requirements and capabilities, offering input for roadmaps on analysis, risk reduction, and the development and integration of capabilities.
