Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 5 years of experience related to software analysis.
- You should have experience assessing the strengths and weaknesses of software and determining its appropriateness in a specific software/customer environment.
- I expect you to have a background in designing, implementing, and testing software assurance (SwA) analysis processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or C# is necessary.
- Experience in developing and advising on code for production systems within structured development environments is essential.
Responsibilities
- You will lead the development of Software Assurance Analysis methodologies, formulating and verifying testing scores, as well as creating and validating test cases that support Software Assurance (SwA) tool analysis.
- I expect you to provide your technical expertise in testing client software and offering remediation recommendations to clients.
- You will mentor junior Software Assurance Evaluation Engineers, offering advice, guidance, consultation, and instruction on cutting-edge software assurance testing and analysis techniques.
- I will need you to spearhead efforts in defining new methods and approaches for software assurance testing and analysis, while surveying the industry to discover new source code SwA tools and methodologies.
- Your role will involve tuning and operating source code analysis tools, assessing their strengths and weaknesses, and determining their appropriateness for specific software/customers while interpreting, prioritizing, and employing source code SwA tools results to address potential vulnerabilities in software.
Description
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Rust and familiarity with technologies such as Klockwork, CodePeer, Fortran-Lint, CodeSonar, Security Fortify, IDA Pro, and MATLAB. - An active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required. - Physical requirements include the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time, constant operation of a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copiers, and printers, as well as frequent communication with coworkers, management, and customers, which may include delivering presentations.
