Requirements
Must:
- A High School Diploma with over 5 years of experience in software integration or software testing, or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in testing and debugging Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and/or Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software.
- Ability to adapt to new system interfaces.
Responsibilities
In the role of a Software Tester on our team, I will expect you to:
- Carry out all facets of software testing, including regression testing.
- Familiarize yourself with applications and create test cases along with reporting results to assist in software releases.
- Test application features and functionalities to assess both expected and edge-case behaviors.
- Improve testing capabilities and ensure effective quality assurance processes.
- Gain insight into the user experience by working closely with staff, clients, and end-users.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and address user support requests, dedicating about 20% of your time to this task.
- Actively participate as a member of a dynamic agile development team.
Description
Preferred qualifications for this position include familiarity with Selenium or similar testing automation tools and experience testing within CentOS, RHEL, SE Linux, and Windows environments. Candidates must possess an active/current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph as a requirement for this role. Please note that physical requirements include the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
