Senior Hardware Engineer, NPD Hardware

- I have experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures. - I hold a BSEE degree with 5+ years of experience in programmable logic design and have successfully taken products from concept to mass production. - I possess strong logic design skills, including state machines, asynchronous/synchronous design, and Boolean logic. - I am proficient in Verilog/SystemVerilog coding. - I have advanced knowledge of compilation, place and route, timing closure, and programming of CPLDs/FPGAs. - I have working knowledge of source control/GIT repositories and automated builds, including Makefiles, bash scripts, and CI/CD environments. - I have experience writing test benches and conducting code reviews. - I have some proficiency in C++ and experience managing outside vendors on CPLD/FPGA development, including documentation, interfacing with software, development, PLD testing, and system testing. - I can debug code written by others and possess good verbal and written communication skills. I am organized and have experience as a project and technical lead. - I am skilled in interfacing with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, diagnostic engineers, and manufacturing/test engineers. - While this position is based in Cupertino, I can accommodate up to 10% travel to both Seattle and Asia and can enter Taiwan and China without visa issues.
