However, four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. - I need you to possess an IAT II certification (Security+ or equivalent) and require you to obtain it within 60 days from the start of the program. - Proficiency in full-stack software development within a cloud environment is essential, along with strong programming skills in Angular (preferably v16), Python, and Django. - Experience in maintaining processes for distributing AMIs using an AMI packer builder that leverages GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, validate, and publish AMIs for public consumption, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitLab CI, Ansible, Packer) is expected.

Responsibilities

- I will task you with designing and developing cloud-native applications, user interfaces, and backend web services using Angular 10/16, Python/Django, and AWS (EC2/AMI, ECS/Docker, RDS/MySQL). - You will automate the provisioning of AWS AMIs across several platforms using HCL Packer, Ansible, and GitLab CI to support bi-weekly security agent deployments. - It will be your responsibility to build and manage test datasets in support of backend service validation and quality assurance efforts. - You will collaborate with other DevOps, Security, and Backend Engineering teams to improve automation, security posture, and performance of the software deliverables. - You will also maintain and manage source code and CI/CD pipelines via GitLab in an agile team environment.

Description

- Preferred qualifications include experience in enterprise or government environments, familiarity with security and compliance in cloud systems, a strong understanding of secure coding, cloud security architecture, and continuous security integration, as well as familiarity with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices. - Furthermore, experience using Ansible and Python playbooks/templates to manage and update Ubuntu and CentOS servers, deploying and managing Docker containers using Kubernetes on Linux environments, and knowledge of RESTful API design and database optimization are desirable. - Clearance requirements include possessing a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph. - Finally, the physical requirement for this position is that the candidate should be able to move, carry, and deliver workstations within the office. Remaining stationary for 50% of the time is expected, along with the ability to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual communication, which may include delivering presentations.
