Must:
To thrive in this role, I expect applicants to meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years working with Allegro software solutions. Experience in providing tier 1 support specifically for Allegro Horizon, along with the development of custom extensions and solutions, is essential.
- A comprehensive understanding of the natural gas trading lifecycle for both physical and financial markets (Trade to Cash process).
- Between 5 to 7 years of development experience in Microsoft T-SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft SSRS and/or Crystal Reports.
- Familiarity with Microsoft VSTS/Azure DevOps, TFS, or GIT.
The required experience will align with the selected job level, as outlined below:
- The Senior IT Specialist level demands a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5-8 years of relevant job experience.
- The Lead IT Specialist level requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with over 8 years of relevant job experience.
- The Principal IT Specialist level necessitates a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with over 10 years of relevant job experience.
Responsibilities
In this position, I will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Designing, developing, testing, and implementing software systems.
- Analyzing, reconciling, and supporting gas marketing and risk systems.
- Extracting and analyzing data; providing queries, data files, and reports to meet business needs.
- Troubleshooting application issues and devising custom solutions when necessary.
- Maintaining and/or creating database interfaces, views, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
- Efficiently managing and maintaining source code and control changes.
Description
We anticipate candidates to possess additional preferred qualifications, which include: - Experience with SAP Business Objects. - Experience with the Quorum QPTM module. - Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or PowerPivot. This is a full-time position, with benefits that include: - 401(k) - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off - Vision insurance The work schedule is Monday to Friday, and we require in-person attendance at the designated work location.
