The Leidos National Security Sector has a career opportunity for a Software Systems Engineer at our Leidos facility in Columbia, MD. Our program is a large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of large collection systems. The work being done on this Leidos-led contract is extremely important to the government and offers our team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. As a Software Systems Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse systems based on documented requirements. Your role includes hardware and software integration, infrastructure, and provisioning while applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. You will interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed. You must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role. Depending on experience and qualifications, the pay range for this position is between $81,250.00 and $146,875.00. Please note that this pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation; other factors will also be considered in extending an offer.
