Lead Windows Systems Engineer

- I possess a comprehensive understanding of Active Directory (AD) Attributes, LDAP Queries, and PowerShell scripting to adjust AD configurations. - I am responsible for building and managing Windows Server environments, including the configuration of organizational units (OUs) and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to meet organizational standards and security protocols. - I configure Active Directory Server Roles such as Certificate Authorities (CAs), IIS, File/Print services, and DNS. - I lead the analysis, design, and execution of Active Directory and Identity Management solutions. - I evaluate the existing AD environment, recognize operational and technical challenges, and develop practical solutions to rectify issues. - I supply data for regulatory compliance and support audit processes. - I ensure the security and integrity of the corporate Active Directory forest. - I engage and collaborate with customers, service managers, and operational support teams to conceptualize, test, and implement security and/or automation solutions that fulfill business requirements. - I provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, generating tailored training recommendations. - I assess project requirements and analyze their impact on infrastructure concerning equipment redundancy and capacity needs. - I create and sustain repeatable process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - I ensure all systems adhere to necessary STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and implement them to meet security standards. - I perform system administration tasks for Endpoint Security System (ESS) and Host-Based Security System (HBSS) servers. - I participate in on-call support rotations, addressing essential system issues and resolving problems as they occur. - I am available to travel CONUS/OCONUS when required.
