Enterprise Mobile Application Developer (iOS & Android)

As an Enterprise Mobile Application Developer at Leidos, I will be responsible for: 1. Developing & Maintaining Mobile Applications: - Design and develop native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI. - Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. - Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Flutter. 2. Backend Integration with Legacy Systems: - Integrate mobile apps with existing COBOL-based and Java-based backend systems. - Collaborate with backend teams to build RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints. - Design API gateways to expose COBOL and Java services to modern mobile platforms. 3. Cross-Platform Mobile Development: - Write reusable, clean, and modular code to ensure efficient development of cross-platform mobile apps. - Work with native modules when necessary. 4. Collaboration with UI/UX Designers: - Work with UI/UX teams to implement responsive designs that meet user requirements. - Ensure UI responsiveness and consistency across both iOS and Android devices. 5. Optimizing Mobile Applications: - Use performance profiling tools to identify and fix bottlenecks in apps. - Implement best practices for memory management and app performance optimization. 6. Testing & Quality Assurance: - Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality. - Implement automated testing with frameworks such as Jest, XCTest, or Flutter Test. 7. CI/CD Pipeline Integration: - Set up CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployment for mobile applications. 8. Security & Compliance: - Implement secure communication protocols and ensure compliance with security standards relevant to the industry. 9. Other Duties: - Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
