Requirements

Must:
We are looking for candidates with: - Experience in native application development. - Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages (e.g., Swift/Objective-C, JavaScript). - The ability to quickly learn new technologies and demonstrate hands-on understanding. - An understanding of design patterns, integration patterns/practice, and data modeling principles and best practices. - A good track record of project delivery for large cross-team projects. - Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with engineers, managers, PMs, and customers. Preferred Skills: - Experience with software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, dependency injection, testable code, and algorithms. - Familiarity with the latest iOS SDK / XCode. - Proficiency in Swift 5. - Experience with CI/CD Pipeline (GitHub Actions / Fastlane). - Knowledge of Git (GitHub). - Familiarity with Honeycomb and Splunk.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will: - Provide intermediate-level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases while integrating third-party products. - Translate technical specifications into code for moderately complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients. I will write programs, develop code, test artifacts, and produce reports, using software development techniques that support automation. - Elevate code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule, providing follow-up production support and submitting change control requests and documentation. - Follow software development methodology and development architecture standards. - Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues while engaging in systems analysis activities. - Understand client business functions and technology needs, as well as Vanguard's tools, technologies, and applications/databases, including those interfacing with business areas and systems. - Learn and comply with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures. - Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
