Responsibilities
As a Cloud Developer II with Top Secret Clearance, I will be responsible for developing the cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). I will implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and analyze applications to determine the best platforms for migration or deployment in a cloud environment. My strategies will focus on failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, cloud agnostic, and on-site premise services. I will independently design and develop new software products or enhance existing cloud software. My key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing cloud applications
- Migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud
- Debugging cloud stacks
- Managing policies for the use of cloud services
- Handling requests for new technology
- Establishing a secure cloud environment
- Ensuring appropriate availability/uptime design
Description
The typical salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750, dependent on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. I will have a scheduled weekly working time of 40 hours. There is no travel required for this role, and I will work in a hybrid telecommuting arrangement based in Washington, DC, USA.
