Must:
To qualify for this position, you must meet one of the following educational criteria: - A bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, - A master's degree in a related field with a minimum of six years of experience, - A PhD in a related field with a minimum of four years of experience. In addition to the educational requirements, a successful candidate must demonstrate: - Expertise with computer-based systems and applications, - Excellent programming skills in languages relevant to specific programming tasks, - Experience in applying industry-standard hardware and software design and documentation techniques, - Extensive knowledge of systems engineering and software development lifecycles, - Effective oral and written communication skills, - Strong planning and organizational skills, - The ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

As the platform engineer, I will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining on-premise software delivery systems. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and proposing scalable and efficient architectures. Other key responsibilities involve providing technical guidance and support to development teams, maintaining the cluster infrastructure, optimizing nodes for reliability and performance, ensuring high availability, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting issues. I will also implement automation and monitoring tools for deployment and maintenance. Staying current with emerging technologies to enhance platform performance and assess their potential impacts will also be part of my role.

Description

The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $170,000 annually. This range is provided in good faith and reflects considerations such as the responsibilities of the position, candidate experience, education, key skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
