Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in iOS & Android Native Mobile App automation testing using Appium driver, along with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, API, and backend automation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to assess, comprehend, and decompose Test Cases and scenarios to identify Critical Path scenarios and automate for different mobile platforms.
- Experience working with and reporting to Product, QA, and UAT leadership.
- A commitment to help create a culture that motivates teams toward test automation implementation.
- A passion for mentoring and guiding others on best testing practices, techniques, and strategies.
Responsibilities
As a Mobile Application Automation Lead, I will hold the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate, recommend, and select market-leading frameworks and tools across all levels of testing that integrate into the automated CI/CD pipeline.
- Partner with Development/DevOps engineers to fully automate testing throughout the release and delivery processes in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Design and implement the shift-left test automation strategy, aligning it with the organization’s and customer’s engineering objectives.
- Work with various vendor/FTE teams to document test environment and test data management strategies for different testing activities.
- Collaborate across teams to understand enterprise quality requirements and ensure the adoption of core processes and standards.
- Prepare, communicate, and deliver technical presentations related to the test automation solution tailored to the audience.
