Chicago C/C++ Users Group is a community-based organization for professionals, students, and enthusiasts to meet, present lectures, and otherwise network with other such individuals in Chicago. Empire Hacking is a bi-monthly meetup that focuses on pragmatic security research and new discoveries in software attack and defense. When we meet in-person, there are breaks so attendees can socialize over drinks and light food. After, we designate a nearby bar to continue the conversation. Empire Hacking is organized by the firm Trail of Bits.

The Seattle Rust User Group is a gathering of friendly folks from the Greater Seattle area interested in the Rust programming language. From low-level to high-level, beginner to expert, everyone is here to have fun and talk Rust.

The .Net Study Group is intended to help software developers increase their understanding of specific Microsoft technologies. Meetings will be held in-person/online in the evenings, revolving around a specific topic. The study material will span several weeks.

Meet with other users of the open-source programming language R. Previously, this meetup focused only on the R language, but is now focused on all open-source data analysis tools; including but not limited to, Python, Julia, C++, Stan, etc. Learn and share tricks and techniques from and with other users. Beginners to advanced users are all welcome.
