Requirements
Must:

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willing to travel to a designated data collection facility in New York, NY during regular business hours.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Must have normal or near-normal hearing.
- Normal vision or the ability to wear vision-correcting glasses or contacts on test days.
- No history of epilepsy, seizures, or severe traumatic brain injury (such as concussion with nausea and/or memory loss).
- No conditions that impair the ability to grip or touch objects with all ten fingers.
- Free from pre-existing conditions in the arms (including shoulder, wrist, hand, and fingers), such as tendinitis or recurring pain.
- Not pregnant, as we wish to avoid any stress on neonates.

Responsibilities
- Participate in on-site testing of innovative digital wearable technology, specifically devices that can be controlled using arm and hand movements.
- Provide feedback through a survey regarding your experience with the device.
- Commit to approximately 3 hours for the testing session.

Description
At Applause, we are excited to offer individuals in or around New York City the chance to contribute to shaping the digital landscape while getting compensated in the process. For this project, you will receive a payment of $150 for your participation. Additionally, if you refer another tester who successfully completes the project, you will earn a $25 bonus! Ensure that any referred candidate mentions your name and email associated with your uTest account during their application. Please bring a physical state or government-issued photo ID, as copies will not be accepted. Arrival without a valid ID will result in ineligibility to test and no compensation. If you rely on corrective lenses, please use contacts if possible or bring your glasses. We prioritize the safety of our testers and staff, especially in the context of COVID-19. We encourage all testers to follow local guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and WHO regarding health and safety measures.
