Requirements

Must:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) with 1-3 years of relevant IT helpdesk or desktop administration experience - Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the IT field - Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or a related field is advantageous - Fluency in English required (reading, writing, speaking) - Proficient troubleshooting abilities and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook - Proficiency in Active Directory and IT ticketing systems is necessary - Strong verbal and communication skills with a high level of triaging proficiency - Effective time management skills are essential - Valid drivers license is required; certifications in User Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, and Active Directory are preferred

Responsibilities

- Respond to calls from various locations addressing issues related to desktop and laptop systems and software - Provide Tier 1 help desk support for a corporate environment of over 2,700 users, ensuring timely assistance - Maintain a focus on customer service for all clients and interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors - Serve as the primary help desk phone support and create tickets for all incoming inquiries - Conduct first-pass troubleshooting and resolve issues as needed - Regularly review open tickets and follow up with end users for updates - Identify the appropriate group responsible for problem resolution and determine when to escalate issues to senior technicians or additional IT teams - Document and communicate the steps taken during the troubleshooting process - Assist in the installation, maintenance, and support of systems and software - Conduct general lab work and assist with system backups and recovery as required - Engage with executive-level employees to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues - Complete additional projects and other duties as assigned
