Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- At least 4 years of direct experience in managing complex projects through their entire lifecycle utilizing tools such as JIRA or comparable software
- CCBA certification preferred; CBAP and/or PMI-PBA are acceptable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience with Salesforce is preferred
- Knowledge of recognized project management methodologies and certifications
- Ability to think strategically, aligning data collection and Salesforce initiatives with organizational objectives
- Strong collaboration skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proactive problem-solving approach to address challenges and enhance processes
- Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with the CEO, Executive Team, key stakeholders, and colleagues throughout the organization
- Play a pivotal role in promoting innovation within college sports travel during this transformative period
- Contribute to our leadership position in collegiate sports travel, coordinating major college sports tournaments and regular season travel for over 100 Division 1 institutions across the United States
- Assist in the intake and assessment of new project requests and enhancements, ensuring comprehensive information gathering
- Collect and document project requirements, both initial and detailed, from stakeholders
- Analyze and convert conceptual user requirements into functional specifications and actionable project steps
- Evaluate and clarify user requirements into practical technical solutions and communicate these effectively to stakeholders
- Prioritize project requirements and translate them into user stories and system use cases
- Assess the impact of changes associated with projects
- Facilitate communication regarding project changes to developers, project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity on issues and solutions
- Work collaboratively within our team to support other departments or undertake additional tasks for the betterment of our clients or company as needed
