Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Postman, Bruno, and Git
- Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell, YAML, Git, and Python
- Experience with ServiceNow development and integration
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, LeSS) and ITIL processes
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities
- Strong communication skills for providing updates and resolutions to customers and collaborators
- Experience in automation architecture or platform engineering at scale
- ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Administrator certification is required
- Exposure to enterprise DevOps practices, including creating automation frameworks for large, distributed setups
- Knowledgeable in process mapping and workflow optimization
- Interest in AI-assisted automation frameworks and emerging technologies
- Experience mentoring engineers in best automation practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to make technical decisions and engage in architectural discussions across teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of platform automation, incorporating Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and workflow automation
- Ensure the maintenance of platform automation for Windows/Linux environments, including IaC and CI/CD pipelines
- Drive the complete automation of key infrastructure processes across the UK&I region, focusing on platform stability, consistency, and enhancements
- Collaborate with teams to create ServiceNow forms and workflows that facilitate Ansible-driven self-service and automation
- Work closely with teams to gather infrastructure requirements and convert them into automated solutions
- Contribute to the documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team
- Strive for improvements in delivery quality and efficiency
