Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or comparable experience
- Proven experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP
- Strong expertise in developing ETL pipelines and utilizing Data Orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
- Solid understanding of Relational Database principles (e.g., normalization, constraints)
- Familiarity with Web Technologies, including APIs and SSO
- Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues related to query performance and data integration discrepancies
- Minimum of 3 years experience with Relational Databases (SQL Server preferred)
- At least 3 years collaborating with external partners
- 3-4 years of ETL experience (preferably SQL Server Integration Services)
- 1-2 years of experience with Data Warehouse concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in T-SQL and Stored Procedures
- Commitment to safeguarding our company and members’ data by adhering to our ethical guidelines and policies
- Data modeling experience preferred
- Cloud integration experience is preferred
- Experience in the Health Care sector is a plus
- Strong administrative and technical capabilities; comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently
- High level of personal accountability and trustworthiness, dedicated to working within Quantum Health’s principles and protecting sensitive data
Responsibilities
- I will lead technical discovery sessions and integration planning with vendor technical teams to assess APIs, define data exchange formats (such as JSON, XML, CSV), and determine suitable transport methods (e.g., REST, SOAP, SFTP).
- I will design, document, and uphold technical integration specifications for external vendor systems, including data mappings, interface definitions, transformation logic, and delivery protocols while ensuring integration solutions meet scalability, performance, and security standards.
- I will provide consultation and L3 support for the implementation and maintenance of robust ETL pipelines using tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), aiding automated data ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery between systems.
- I will craft and optimize intricate SQL queries and stored procedures to bolster large-scale data integration, monitoring, and reconciliation tasks, ensuring high availability and performance of backend data processes.
- I will act as the technical point of contact for all vendor integration concerns, taking ownership of problem resolution, root cause analysis, and long-term stability planning. I will collaborate with infrastructure and development teams as needed.
- I will execute and maintain integration monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify issues in data transfers, latency, and schema mismatches, working with stakeholders to triage and resolve production incidents.
- I will establish and maintain robust working relationships with external vendors in a client-facing capacity, ensuring clear communication for ongoing integration needs, enhancements, troubleshooting, and compliance requirements.
- I will serve as a trusted connection between Quantum Health and vendor technical teams, translating business needs into actionable technical plans and ensuring vendor deliverables align with contractual and operational expectations.
- I will engage in vendor performance reviews to provide technical insights on integration health, incident history, and improvement opportunities.
- I will collaborate with Legal, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure vendor integrations comply with data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA), secure authentication practices, and internal governance policies.
- I will support ongoing improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for integration automation, minimizing manual handoffs, and contributing to architecture and process advancements.
- I will perform other duties as required.
