Requirements
Must:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in front-end/UI development for web and mobile applications, alongside back-end development using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
- A strong foundation in software architecture and design patterns.
- Proven proficiency in creating scalable, responsive, and high-performance UI components using ReactJS (experience with React Native is highly preferable).
- A solid grasp of UI/UX principles, mobile-first design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-platform/browser compatibility.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries such as Material UI or Ant Design.
- Hands-on experience with mobile development using React Native for iOS and Android (Progressive Web Apps are also a plus).
- Familiarity with Java build tools like Maven or Gradle, as well as JavaScript ecosystem tools such as NPM, Yarn, and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases like PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture best practices, particularly within AWS.
- Experience in preparing and evaluating build/buy proposals and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Ability to define and steer the technical vision for projects in alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Capability to lead architecture and design for complex systems with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and security.
- Ability to mentor and support engineering teams in striving for technical excellence and ongoing improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Collaborate with Engineering Directors on architecture to address business requirements and enhance efficiency within the organization.
- Mentor and enhance the skills of engineering teams concerning technical approaches to software development, testing, and documentation.
- Research and collaborate with engineering teams to boost the security, resilience, maintainability, and quality of both existing and forthcoming technical solutions.
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve critical technical challenges, minimizing any disruption to the business.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for systems and processes.
- Promote and enforce best practices for software engineering, including code quality, test automation, and CI/CD processes.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their potential value for adoption.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions.
- Protect and manage our company’s and members' data daily by committing to our ethical policies.
