Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- I possess 8 years of demonstrated experience in front-end/UI development for web and mobile applications, coupled with backend development using Java (preferably Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
- I have a robust background in software architecture and design patterns.
- I exhibit proven expertise in creating scalable, responsive, and high-performance UI components employing ReactJS (experience with React Native is highly favored).
- I have a solid grasp of UI/UX principles, mobile-first design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-platform/browser compatibility.
- I’ve worked with design systems and component libraries, including Material UI or Ant Design.
- I possess hands-on experience in mobile development utilizing React Native for both iOS and Android; experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) is advantageous.
- I am familiar with Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle, and JavaScript ecosystem tools like NPM, Yarn, and GitHub Actions.
- I am proficient in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
- I have an in-depth understanding of cloud architecture best practices, especially within AWS.
- I have experience in preparing and evaluating build/buy proposals and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- I can define and guide the technical vision for projects in alignment with strategic business objectives, and lead architecture and design for intricate systems focusing on scalability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities
- I collaborate with Engineering Directors on architecture to address business requirements and enhance efficiency within the organization.
- I mentor and enhance the skills of engineering teams on technical approaches to software development, testing, and documentation.
- I investigate methods and partner with engineering teams to advance security, resiliency, maintainability, and quality of both existing and future technical solutions.
- I lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve critical technical challenges, minimizing business interruptions.
- I maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for systems and processes.
- I promote and enforce best practices in software engineering, including code quality, test automation, and CI/CD processes.
- I stay informed about emerging technologies and evaluate their potential for adoption.
- I collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions.
- I mentor and support engineering teams to foster technical excellence and continuous improvement.
