Lead Cloud Data Engineer - API Specialization

- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent field. - A minimum of 9 years of demonstrated experience in backend software and/or REST API development. - At least 5 years of experience in open-source development in a Linux environment. - Proficiency in designing, developing, delivering, and supporting technology platforms in cloud environments. - Experience in modeling business objects for API exposure. - Comprehensive skills in SQL, security (OAuth), data transformation, and REST development. - Preferred experience with Spring Boot, AWS, Gradle, OpenAPI, Bash, Snowflake, Docker, Git, and Nexus. - Ability to mentor and coach team members effectively. - Skill in understanding and explaining the details and impacts of complex software solutions. - Experience in Agile Scrum or similar methodologies. - Capacity to work independently and resolve issues with minimal guidance. - Strong planning and organizational abilities, with keen attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills. - Proven experience in managing multiple priorities while adapting to shifting business needs and meeting deadlines. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with team members and customers professionally. - Strong administrative and technical skills; must be comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and IM/video conferencing tools (Teams & Zoom). - A high level of personal accountability and trustworthiness, with a commitment to adhering to our policies, values, and ethics, and safeguarding sensitive data.
