Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale Linux environments
- Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 8 and 9
- Strong skills in Ansible and Bash scripting for automation
- Familiarity with RPM-based systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Experience with documentation and tracking in tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, and AssurX
Responsibilities
- Engineer and support extensive enterprise-level Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and stability
- Automate routine operations and enhance workflows using Ansible and Bash scripts
- Manage RHEL and RPM-centric systems to align with current technical standards
- Collaborate with team members to adapt to changing project needs
- Maintain thorough documentation of work processes using industry-standard tools
Description
We are looking for a skilled RHEL Automation Engineer to join our team in supporting RTSS and Backhaul/Mesh Operations. This hybrid role allows for three days of on-site work in locations such as Kennett Square, PA, Baltimore, MD, Chicago, IL, or Newark, DE. As a part of our team, you will play a critical role in advancing automation and ensuring the integrity of our systems in a dynamic, metrics-focused environment. We offer a W2 contract for 12 months with the potential for full-time conversion, along with opportunities for professional growth.
