Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in backend testing and ETL testing
- Strong knowledge of SQL for complex query creation and execution
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in agile ceremonies
- Proficiency in test automation using Java and Jenkins
- Experience with API testing and integration test strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to travel to Reston, VA approximately once per quarter
- Located in Eastern or Central time zones, with preference given to those within commuting distance of Reston, VA
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios from the ground up
- Create and leverage complex SQL queries to validate backend processes
- Collaborate with diverse teams to assess requirements, document defects, and participate in agile ceremonies
- Conduct ETL testing, focusing on the processing and transformation of large datasets for migration
- Develop and automate test cases utilizing Java and Jenkins
- Perform API testing and help shape integration testing strategies
- Map requirements to test cases, guaranteeing thorough coverage of all test scenarios
- Engage actively in swift team collaborations and communicate technical details effectively to stakeholders
